Privacy policy

We explain what data this website uses, why we use it and how to contact us about your privacy.

Who is responsible?

BoostPhysics B.V. is the controller for personal data processed through this Trailersync company website. Our contact details appear alongside this statement. Please use the privacy email address shown there for questions.

This statement covers the public website and savings calculator. The customer dashboard and vehicle or sensor data processed by our products are outside its scope; the arrangements for those services apply instead.

Contact and calculator emails

If you email or call us, we use the contact details and information you provide to respond to your enquiry. The website does not request access to your precise location.

You can use the calculator without entering your name or email address. To receive a result by email, we ask for your name, company name and email address. We also process your selected payment option, fleet details, assumptions and calculated results.

We send the scenario to the address you enter. sales@trailersync.eu receives a CC copy, including your name, company name, email address, inputs and result, to handle your request and answer related questions. This request does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Without the requested contact details, we cannot email the result.

Where applicable, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general or business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding appropriately to business requests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Technical data and security

Visiting a website involves processing technical data to deliver pages and prevent abuse, such as your IP address, requested page, time and browser information. Hosting or infrastructure providers may process these data in technical logs.

Calculator emails use a temporary session and a secured result token to verify your scenario and limit duplicate or forged requests. Your name and email address are not included in the result token. The application does not create a separate calculator lead register in its website database. Sent messages remain in the relevant mailboxes. Local testing may save email previews as files.

Our legal basis is the legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Access to administration and data is intended for authorised people. The calculator produces a numerical scenario and does not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Company recognition with Leadinfo

We use Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, in cookieless mode to recognise company visits and understand business interest in our products. Leadinfo does not use cookies for this company recognition. Processing personal data, such as IP addresses, is still involved.

Leadinfo can match your IP address with publicly available company information, such as company name and address. Depending on account settings, the service may also process pages visited, timestamps, browser and device information, a referring page and the domain from form input. A referring page is not your entire browsing history. Form recognition and additional individual-level features depend on Leadinfo account settings.

Our legitimate interest is understanding business interest and relevant business follow-up (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our interests must be balanced against your privacy rights. You can object using our privacy contact address. Also see Leadinfo’s privacy policy and Leadinfo’s opt-out option.

Who receives data?

Data are available to authorised staff handling your enquiry and suppliers needed for website administration, infrastructure and email delivery. The public website will be hosted on Heroku. Heroku processes the technical data needed to provide hosting. When messages are sent through the configured Antagonist mail server, Antagonist processes them. Leadinfo receives visit data when company recognition is enabled. The calculator does not send your request to Google Maps or Vimeo.

Suppliers processing personal data on our behalf require appropriate processing and security arrangements. The service and account settings determine processing locations. Transfers outside the European Economic Area require appropriate safeguards, such as an applicable adequacy decision or European standard contractual clauses. You can ask us which suppliers, locations and safeguards apply to your data.

Data may also be disclosed where required by law.

How long do we keep data?

We retain data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which we received them. For contact and calculator requests, this depends on resolving your enquiry, relevant correspondence, any follow-up arrangements and applicable legal obligations. Financial record-keeping obligations do not automatically apply to every calculator request.

Technical logs are retained only as needed for administration, troubleshooting and security. Supplier retention also depends on the service, deletion settings and backups. For Leadinfo, account settings and supplier arrangements help determine how long data remain available. You can ask our privacy contact for the specific retention period applicable to your data.

The secured calculator email token expires after one hour. This does not delete an already sent message from a mailbox after one hour. Functional cookie lifetimes appear at the bottom of this page.

External websites

Google Maps and Vimeo are external links. The contact page has no embedded map, and customer videos are not automatically loaded through an embedded player. These links ask you to confirm before opening an external website. Once opened, that provider’s privacy rules apply and it may process data or set cookies.

This confirmation informs you that you are leaving our website; it is not consent to tracking on the external website. This website has no Google Analytics or advertising pixel integration and does not load external fonts.

Your rights and questions

You can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Subject to GDPR conditions, you also have rights to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. This does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Contact us using the privacy address on this page. We normally respond within one month. If more time is needed, we inform you within that month of the reason and extension. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity, but do not routinely request a complete copy of your identity document.

You may complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. This website is intended for business visitors and does not request special-category personal data. If you believe a child has inadvertently provided personal data, please contact us.

We update this statement when the website or our processing changes. The date above shows when this version was updated.

Functional cookies

The website uses functional cookies for form security and the session used by calculator emails. Administrators also use a session to sign in. You can delete cookies in your browser; some features may then stop working.
