Rabobank awards an Innovation Loan to Trailersync

Goirle, 22 December 2025 — Trailersync has been awarded the Rabo Innovation Loan. The financing enables the Brabant-based start-up to accelerate the scaling of Trailersync Sense®, its patented truck-trailer manoeuvring and connectivity solution.

The award follows a positive decision by Rabobank's Innovation Fund committee. According to the press release, the bank sees potential for the technology to improve safety and efficiency in logistics.

Addressing manoeuvring damage

Reversing and trailer swing can cause damage, repair costs and downtime. Founders Max and Rob de Feber recognised this problem in 2018 and developed Trailersync Sense: a smart manoeuvring aid that supports drivers during complex manoeuvres.

Confidence from the bank and drivers

The supplied committee report speaks positively about the innovation, patented technology and scalable model. According to the report, truck drivers consulted were also positive about the support offered by Trailersync Sense.

The press release reports pilots at several transport operators. At the time of publication, ITC Holland in Oss and M.J. van Riel in Tilburg had committed to a full rollout across their fleets.

Safety as a Service

With the financing, Trailersync is further developing its production and service capabilities and preparing for international expansion. Together with Rabobank, the team is also developing a Safety as a Service model: a per-trailer subscription covering hardware and data, with a lower upfront investment.
